Masters of Computer Science Comprehensive Exam

This page contains information about the written exams taken by Master's students in the Computer Science programs at Florida Tech. These include not only the students at the main campus, but also those at Orlando, the Kennedy Space Center, Patrick Air Force Base as well. These students should consider carefully the information contained here and register for the written exams using the form below.

Comprehensive Examination Schedule

The comprehensive examination is offered every Fall and Spring semester. The schedule for the area exams is given below:

Specific dates and times will be assigned after registration and sent to all registered students by email.

• Compilers
• Artificial Intelligence

The deadline for signing up is Friday, September 8th. SEGS students take the exam at their site and should contact their Program Director for scheduling information.

Registration Form

Use the form below or contact the Department of Computer Sciences and Cybersecurity Student Office, in the Harris Center room 213 if you have any questions. Master's students must be in their last term as a full-time student and have a 3.0 GPA to register. If students have completed their course work, they do not need to be enrolled in classes to take the comprehensive exam.
