The Computer Science Seminar provides a forum for graduate students
and faculty members to learn current research and development
activities in academia as well as in the industry. Each week the
seminar features a speaker discussing various research and development
projects in computer science.

- for each talk, a summary is due in one week at 12noon, Friday.
- PDF file submission on Canvas
- 1-2 pages, single-spaced, 12-pt font, 1-in margins. Use one of the templates:
- Outline of sections:
- What is the problem?
- Why is the problem important (motivation)?
- How is the problem solved (approach)?
- How well does the approach solve the problem (evaluation)?
- What are the limitations and possible improvements?
- What is a question you would like to ask the speaker?
- grading scale: good (3), ok (2), poor (1), missing/late (0)
Attendance
- present (1) or absent (0) near the beginning of the seminar
