The 7th Annual Northrop Grumman Student Design Showcase was a great success. Congratulations go to the winners.

The winners in the College of Engineering were:

Most Promising Junior - Aerospace Engineering was "Wind Tunnel"
Most Promising Junior - Electrical and Computer Engineering was "Gannet"
Most Promising Junior - Mechanical Engineering was "Human Powered Vehicle"
Most Promising Junior - Ocean Engineering was "Wing Wave"

Best of Aerospace Engineering was "Blended Wing Plane"
Best of Chemical Engineering was "Butanol Production via Continuous Whey Concentration Fermentation"
Best of Civil Engineering was "Loop West Shopping Center"
Best of Computer Science was "Shattered Seal: Echelon"
Best of Electrical and Computer Engineering was "Smooth Sleep"
Best of Mechanical Engineering was "Intelligent Ground Vehicle"
Best of Ocean Engineering was "Sharkes"

The President's Cup in Engineering went to "Intelligent Ground Vehicle" a joint Mechanical, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science team.

The Northrop Grumman award went to "Sharkes" an Ocean Engineering Wave energy project.
