Modern apps are often glued together with YAML, scripts, and convention. Aspire reimagines this by introducing contracts to application composition — turning implicit dependencies into explicit, validated relationships. In this talk, David Fowler shows how Aspire makes complex systems reliable, composable, and easier to deploy across environments.

David Fowler is a Distinguished Engineer at Microsoft with over 17 years of experience building developer tools, services, and frameworks. He’s one of the original creators of ASP.NET Core and now leads Aspire, an open-source project that redefines how developers compose, configure, and deploy cloud-native applications.
