Abstract

Glydways introduces a new category of public transit: a disaggregated system of small, electric, autonomous vehicles that deliver private, on-demand rides at the price of a bus ticket. On the autonomy integration team, we own the framework, tools, and software glue connecting together other high level autonomy teams such as localization, motion, applications, and our site manager team Dispatch. I've had a chance to work on all different levels and areas of our codebase on this team and it's been a blast.

About the Speaker

Daniel Griessler has been on the autonomy integration team at Glydways for almost 2 years. He graduated from Florida Tech with a dual bachelors in Computer Science and Mathematics in 2020 and a Master’s in Computer Science in 2023. Daniel loves turning complex problems into clean, reliable systems and is excited to be working at Glydways whose product will prove to have such an impact on the urban transit landscape.
