Abstract

Large language models such as ChatGPT are becoming increasingly integrated into our personal, professional, and academic lives. They help us write everything from emails to legal case notes. Unfortunately, these models have a habit of blending both true and false statements together into a seamless tapestry of what is known in the philosophy world as 'BS'. In this talk, we will discuss what is meant by 'BS' and how we as a society can moderate our interactions with LLMs accordingly.
