Bob Morris
NASA Ames Research Center
Abstract
In recent years, there have been calls for innovation for improving accuracy, enhancing model intelligence, scaling up operation, and reducing costs in many subdomains of Earth science. AI research has made a significant contribution to answering these calls. This talk gives an overview of AI in Earth sciences, and provides examples from NASA’s AIST program of projects that apply AI to answering Earth science questions.
