Abstract
We talk a little about the International Programming Competition and Florida Tech's part participation. The Southeast Regional Competition is coming up on 8 November 2025. The problems posed at the ICPC style competitions have clear and efficient solutions. Expressing the solutions poses an opportunity to a programming language to express the solution in a way that is efficient for the computer and clear to reader. We examine a few of my favorite ICPC problems and show the solutions. We will try to show the functional languages are unsurpassed in expressing computation.
