Abstract

This presentation introduces Stable Fleet Manager (SFM), Google Cloud Engine's (GCE) VM maintenance management system. It covers the context of GCE, VMs, and VM migration, explores the challenges of migration, and details how SFM provides a solution. A practical example of Copyfull migration is also included.

About the Speaker

Tiger Sun is a Software Development Engineer at Google, where he has worked since 2022. Prior to Google, he worked as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft from 2016 to 2022. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology (2015).
