Abstract
Security vulnerabilities don't exist in isolation--they emerge from the interplay of software, hardware, users, and processes. This talk explores system testing as a critical layer of cybersecurity, moving beyond traditional software testing to address risk management, compliance frameworks, advanced threat detection, continuous monitoring, and human-centric vulnerabilities. Using real-world breaches as case studies, we'll examine how better testing could have prevented major failures. Attendees will gain insights into integrating security testing across the entire system lifecycle, ensuring resilience in today's complex environments. Join us in rethinking security testing from a systems perspective--because partial security isn't security at all.
