Masters of Software Engineering Comprehensive Exam

This page contains information about the written exams required of Master's students in the Software Engineering program at Florida Tech. These includes not only the students at the main campus, but also those at Orlando, the Kennedy Space Center, Patrick Air Force Base as well. These students should consider carefully the information contained here and when they are prepared, register for the written exams using the form below.

Comprehensive Examination Schedule

The comprehensive examination is offered every Fall and Spring semester. The schedule for the software engineering exams is given below. Refer to the Computer Science Master of Science Comprehensive Examination page for the Computer Science examination schedule.

Specific dates and times will be assigned after registration and sent to all registered students by email.

  Note: this is a 4-6 hour exam.

Registration Form

Use the form below or contact the Department of Computer Sciences and Cybersecurity Student Office, in the Harris Center room 213 if you have any questions. Master's students must be in their last term as a full-time student and have a 3.0 GPA to register.

To register for the comprehensive examination, students must complete and submit this online form.
